Elopements

We love celebrating couples with a string quartet at any sized wedding, but Elopements are particularly intimate and small, making them one of the best times to hire a soloist. Southern Strings Soloists have played many Elopements in the Nashville area and it’s always a success. Solo Violin is a great addition to add ambiance and emotion to fill outdoor or indoor ceremonies, whether you want to slip away as a couple or have a micro-wedding in a friend’s backyard.

Events

I recently played solo violin for a Nashville Ballet fundraiser at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the home of the Nashville Symphony. Playing solo violin pop songs on the steps to welcome guests was such a fun and innovative way to introduce the event. Not only is having a violinist memorable, guests will appreciate the unique music choice as string players performing pop songs is somewhat unusual, but rising in popularity. Below is a short video showing the experience of an attendee arriving at the Symphony Center, enjoy!

Religious Services

Southern Strings Co-Founder and Violinist, Kristi Monte, tours the States as a solo violinist for religious services, recordings, events, and weddings. Kristi recently said that “playing solo violin in beautiful, open spaces like churches really allows the instrument to sing in a way that can’t be heard otherwise”. The ambiance a soloist can bring to meaningful spiritual or religious services can affect the whole mood for the visitors, which is why we hope you’ll trust Southern Strings to offer only the best soloists.
